Terms and Conditions
These terms cover buying from yasinart.com. By placing an order you are agreeing to them.
About us
Yasin Art sells handpicked Islamic fine art, calligraphy prints, handcrafted gift books and art-patterned notebooks. You can reach us at yasinartcom@gmail.com.
Orders
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming it. That confirmation means we have your order, not that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we dispatch your piece.
We may decline an order if a piece is no longer available, if we cannot take payment, or if a price has been listed in error. If that happens we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping and any taxes we are able to calculate are added at checkout and shown to you before you pay. Payment is taken at the time you order, through our checkout provider.
The pieces themselves
We photograph every piece as faithfully as we can, but screens vary, and paper, ink and gilding behave differently in real light than they do in a photograph. Small variations in colour and finish are part of handmade and hand-finished work rather than a fault.
Where a piece is described as a limited edition, we will say so on its page along with what that edition involves.
Delivery and returns
Delivery is covered in our shipping policy, and returns and refunds in our returns policy. Both form part of these terms.
Commissions
We arrange bespoke and commissioned work with a network of master artists. Commissions are agreed with you individually, including the brief, the price and the timing, before any work begins. Because they are made specially for you they cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or differ from what was agreed.
Copyright
The artwork we sell remains the intellectual property of the artists who made it. Buying a piece gives you that piece to keep and enjoy, not the right to reproduce, copy or sell the image. The photographs and text on this site belong to us and to the artists we work with.
If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. If you are unhappy with anything, write to us first at yasinartcom@gmail.com. We are a small business run by people who care about this work, and we would far rather put a problem right than argue about it.
